We believe that the phrase violates the cherished American principle of church and state separation and needlessly endangers religious freedom. We believe that it is due time to correct this affront to our religious liberty.
Godoffmoney.com encourages people to place the phrase "Keep Church and State Separate" on their bills. Patriotic individuals all across the country are stamping their bills with this message. It is our hope that because of these efforts, the topic of church/state relations will be placed in the forefront of public discourse.
Our overall goal is far more grand than simply modifying our currency. We want to spread the message that although we live in a predominately religious country, the only way to insure our religious liberty is to maintain the secular identity of our government.
Every bill stamped is another brick placed in the wall of separation.
